Our Vision & Values
We envision a North Carolina in which people are able to make informed reproductive healthcare decisions, in accordance with their own situation, conscience, and faith beliefs, without stigma or shame.
IVRF members support quality reproductive healthcare, not in spite of our religious values, but because of them. Our faiths direct us to trust and support the sacred and complex decisions people make regarding their own bodies and contexts.

Our Mission
We are a coalition of faith communities who advocate for quality reproductive healthcare accessible to all North Carolinians.
“Judaism clearly states life begins at birth, not conception. The life of the mother is primary.”

Rabbi Robin Damsky, Judea Reform Congregation
“It’s a misconception that the majority of Christian people are against abortion when exactly the opposite is true.”

Jennifer Copeland, Executive Director of the North Carolina Council of Churches
